I’m starting the 5-5-5 weight lifting routine now and I absolutely love it.
Basically, the 5-5-5 plan is to do 5 sets of 5 reps of a low starting weight. Then, the next time you go work out that body part again doing the same exercise, you raise the weight 5 pounds.
You are bored kinda at first but you quickly get up to your old maxes and you typically blow by them. Pretty cool.
I used this particularly for bench press, where I was plataeuing. Plateau-ing? I don’t know. Anyway, try it!
